This is what it’s all about!

Below is a testimonial we have received from one of our employees that has recently finished up. It’s assuring to hear that their time with Shear Power Contracting was so positive and that we have been able to provide such a great experience to our workers. It’s a pleasure being able to show employees, both local and international, the true Australian agricultural industry at it’s finest in rural Queensland and New South Wales. We thank all of our employees for the work they put in which assists in the development of crops all year round.

“Martyn, is an honest and dependable man. If you have any questions or problems with managers or living arrangements, he is the go-to guy, and he was available 24/7 to assist me. If Martyn tells you that you have a job, then you don’t need to worry about job security. I had plenty of hours per week, which allowed me to quickly finish my farm days for my visa. Martyn constantly kept me informed about which farm I would be working on and when I had days off.

I had the opportunity to work on a total of four farms. The first farm I worked at I spent 1.5 months. They are absolute professionals in their craft. The team is comprised of hardworking men and women, and I have total respect for people who have dedicated most of their lives to a common goal. As for the other two farms, I only worked there for a couple of days, so I don’t know much about the people there. However, my last farm had the best manager. I felt like my work was needed and that it mattered. The manager would give little motivational speeches in the morning and keep us informed about what was happening on the farm overall. Thanks to this, I gained a better understanding of farm operations. The crew is open to communication and very helpful. They teach you everything you need to know in the politest manner possible and are always there to help when you are in need.

Based on my positive experiences, I will definitely recommend Shear Power to my friends and anyone who needs to complete their farm days without worrying.”
