As the winter weather settles in, our employees are rugging up and continuing to get the job done across our farms. While farm work has been relatively quiet in the lead-up to ground preparation and planting seasons, our team has remained busy tackling a range of maintenance tasks, including painting, general property upkeep, equipment maintenance, and other essential farm duties.
With more rain forecasted for Goondiwindi this week, our employees may get a day or two of rest. This forecast is a welcome sign for next season’s crop – as the saying goes “rain on the roof means hope in the paddock,”. The additional moisture will help maintain soil conditions ahead of planting, which is expected to commence around October.
