As an employer; Shear Power Contracting Pty Ltd along with our Clients, have a legal obligation to ensure that our agricultural, farm and seasonal workers have a safe environment to work, consisting of safe equipment and safe operating procedures.

Shear Power Contracting Pty Ltd is committed to working collaboratively with our clients to ensure we are successful in the goal of making rural employment safe.  We are integrating our Quality and Occupational Health & Safety Management with our client’s systems, in order to maximise the safety of employees placed in agricultural positions.

We take Occupational Health and Safety VERY seriously.

Your Part

As agricultural, farm and seasonal workers – you have what could be described as a fundamental part to play in the safety aspect of your employment.  Ultimately, this is because it is you who will suffer the most from a serious accident or incident.  If an incident occurs involving you or someone around you, it is your responsibility to contact the necessary Supervisor or Farm Manager.  You are also required to contact us, Shear Power Contracting Pty Ltd; and complete the online incident report below.  If you do not have access to the internet, you must notify Shear Power Contracting Pty Ltd as soon as possible, via other communication mediums e.g. telephone.
